New Delhi, April 4 A Delhi court on Saturday ordered Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative Shabir Ahmed Lone to be held in judicial custody for seven days, complying with a request from the city police.

On March 30, Lone was remanded in police custody for five days.

A team from the New Delhi range of the Special Cell arrested Lone on March 29 from the Ghazipur area here, in connection with an LeT module uncovered in February after pro-Pakistan and pro-terror posters were found at various locations, including the Janpath metro station, in the national capital.

Describing Lone as a "hardcore and highly trained terrorist", the Delhi Police said he had established links with handlers operating on behalf of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

"Lone, also known by the aliases Raja and Kashmiri, is a resident of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir and was allegedly operating as the handler of a recently busted module involved in pasting anti-national posters across multiple locations in Delhi and Kolkata," it said.
