
Jammu, March 18 Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, and Cheti Chand, on Wednesday.
In a message, the Lt Governor said, "On this auspicious occasion of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, and Cheti Chand, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all."
He said these festivals, celebrated across the country, mark the beginning of the New Year and embody a spirit of renewal of faith and hope.
"May these festivals bring prosperity, peace, and happiness to everyone's life, and also promote the spirit of unity and harmony," he said.
Abdullah also conveyed his greetings on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, describing it as a festival that marks the beginning of the New Year and symbolizes the triumph of truth, righteousness, and virtue over evil.
"On this auspicious occasion, I extend my warm wishes to everyone for their success, happiness, and well-being," he said.
The Chief Minister also extended his felicitations to the Kashmiri Pandit community on the occasion of Navreh.
"May these festivals strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and inspire us to dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity," he said.
