JAMMU, APRIL 8: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has dissolved the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory, formally concluding the legislative session.
According to a bulletin issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the order dated April 7, 2026, was issued by the Lieutenant Governor in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 18(2)(a) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019.
