Los Angeles, March 31 – Hollywood actress Lily Collins is discussing the changes she has made to her lifestyle after becoming a mother.
The actress has revealed that she wears high heels "much less" since becoming a first-time mother, according to ‘Female First UK’.
The ‘Emily in Paris’ star, 37, welcomed her daughter, Tove, her first child with husband Charlie McDowell, through surrogacy last year, and the actress has now revealed that becoming a parent has completely changed her wardrobe, admitting that she now prefers practical shoes like "ballet flats or sneakers" instead of high heels.
She told Marie Claire magazine, "I'm probably more inclined towards understated, comfortable chic. Being a mum now, I'm definitely more practical. I wear heels much less – now I'm usually in ballet flats or sneakers”.
According to ‘Female First UK’, Lily went on to explain her "everyday outfit formula", revealing that she primarily wears jeans and T-shirts.
She said, "An oversized blazer, a great pair of jeans (mostly high-waisted), a button-down tee in light blue or white. A comfortable cropped sweater and a solid sneaker or a ballet flat with a large bag to fit everything in when I'm not wearing them”. In the interview, Lily also shared her top beauty secrets, revealing that she has stopped blow-drying her hair since cutting it into a chic bob.
She said, "I only ever air dry it, and I had to get over the whole idea of constantly maintaining and cutting it. The shorter the hair, the more you notice that it needs to be cut… once you get over the fact that you won't be able to maintain it all the time, it's very liberating”.
Lily previously admitted that she loves getting regular facials while she's filming her show ‘Emily in Paris’ in France because the clinic she visits is able to "work miracles" on her skin.
