
A job fair was organized by the District Employment & Counselling Centre, Samba, at the Community Hall in Ramgarh, to provide employment opportunities for the youth of the district. The event was inaugurated by MLA Ramgarh, Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal.
Around 24 companies participated in the fair, offering over 600 vacancies in sectors such as industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, security, and sales. Major recruiters included Cadila Pharmaceutical Ltd, Saraswati Agro Chemicals Pvt. Ltd, Jai Beverages Pvt. Ltd, VKC Nuts Pvt. Ltd, Abinza Pharma Pvt. Ltd, Astrofine Pharma Pvt. Ltd, and Zeiss Pharma Ltd.
More than 600 job seekers attended the event, and 150 candidates were shortlisted, with 20 being selected on the spot by different companies.
Speaking at the event, MLA Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal encouraged the youth to take full advantage of such platforms, which enable direct interaction with recruiters and open avenues for employment.
Naresh Kumar, Assistant Director of Employment, Samba, advised the youth to register on the Mission YUVA portal to avail government schemes and financial assistance aimed at promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship.
