On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia today, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid floral tributes to him in the central hall of Samvidhan Sadan. The Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh, Members of Parliament, and former Members also paid tributes to Dr. Lohia.
The portrait of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was unveiled in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan (formerly Parliament House) on May 30, 1991, by then Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, in honor of Dr. Lohia's remarkable service to the nation.
