He emphasized that India's crude oil supply is secure. He stated that the domestic supply of LPG is fully protected, and the standard time for booking to delivery for domestic LPG cylinders remains at 2.5 days. He said that the government's priority is to ensure uninterrupted LPG supply to 33 crore families, particularly the poor and vulnerable. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, stated that there is considerable concern regarding LPG, and restaurants are struggling to operate, and street vendors are also being affected. He said that the foundation of every nation is its energy security.
