
Shimla, March 31 Authorities here on Tuesday ordered gas agencies to report LPG deliveries at designated points two days in advance, allowing sufficient time to inform consumers.
The order was issued by Kumud Singh, Director, Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
The agencies were directed to inform district controllers, inspectors, and panchayat representatives about the deliveries two days in advance, so that information can be disseminated to consumers through newspapers and other channels.
Presiding over a meeting of the State Level Monitoring Committee here, Kumud Singh said that there are currently 191 gas agencies operating across the state.
She said that the state was currently receiving around 60 per cent of the normal allocation of commercial LPG cylinders, and all commercial establishments were being adequately supplied.
