
Chandigarh, March 13 Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said that rumors regarding disruptions in the supply of domestic LPG gas, petrol, and diesel in the state due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia are completely baseless.
He assured that the supply of domestic LPG, petrol, and diesel in Haryana is completely normal and continuing without interruption.
In this regard, the chief minister held a meeting with senior officers of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department and representatives of oil companies to review the availability of fuel and gas in the state, an official statement said.
During the meeting, representatives from the oil companies confirmed to the chief minister that there is sufficient stock of petrol, diesel, and LPG available in the state, and the supply of gas is continuously being maintained.
Saini mentioned that arrangements have been made to prioritize hospitals, educational institutions, and other essential services in receiving commercial gas cylinders.
Moreover, oil companies are making consistent efforts to ensure an uninterrupted supply, so that regular consumers do not face any inconveniences.
According to the statement, Saini has instructed all deputy commissioners and superintendents of police in the state to take strict action immediately upon receiving any complaints related to theft, black marketing, or hoarding.
He appealed to the people of the state to refrain from believing in rumors and urged them to avoid unnecessary panic or excessive storage of fuel and gas.
The chief minister assured that the state government is vigilant and is committed to ensuring an uninterrupted supply of domestic gas to every household.
