New Delhi, March 15 The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a protest against the LPG crisis in the country on Sunday, alleging that it was due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi "bowing down" to US President Donald Trump.

The 'Gas Cylinder Shobha Yatra', led by AAP Delhi state president Saurabh Bharadwaj, was taken out by AAP workers across every ward of the capital.

Bharadwaj said the protest was being taken out at 250 locations across Delhi.

"Gas cylinder Shobha Yatras are being taken out at 250 locations in Delhi on Sunday. People are showing great enthusiasm to see gas cylinders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's failed foreign policy has pushed the country into this situation," he said.

"PM Modi bowed down and surrendered to Trump. Because of these wrong foreign policies, the country today is facing a severe shortage of gas," AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar, during the yatra taken out in Trilokpuri.

Kumar said that on one hand, the Modi government claims that there is no shortage of gas in the country, while on the other hand, long queues are visible on the streets.

“Poor people are being forced to buy gas at Rs 300 per kilogram. Even the shops where the prime minister once made tea have shut down today due to the unavailability of cylinders,” he added.
