March 22, New Delhi: A large cargo ship, the Pyxis Pioneer, carrying LPG from Texas in the United States, arrived at the Mangaluru Port on Sunday.
The vessel, carrying 47,236 tonnes of LPG, is expected to provide relief to commercial and household fuel supplies.
In recent days, other LPG carriers, including Nanda Devi and Shivalik, have also reached Indian ports after navigating the risky Strait of Hormuz route.
Shivalik arrived at the Mundra Port on Monday, while Nanda Devi arrived at the Kandla Port early on Tuesday morning.
