LPG Tankers Journey Through Strait of Hormuz.webp

March 26, New Delhi - In the latest update, two more Indian-flagged LPG tankers have begun their journey from the Persian Gulf and are expected to cross the conflict-affected Strait of Hormuz before proceeding to Indian ports.

The Indian tankers, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, carrying tonnes of LPG, are expected to arrive at Indian ports between March 26 and March 28.

Previously, the Indian vessels Shivalik and Nanda Devi, carrying tonnes of LPG, or roughly a day's cooking gas consumption for the country, had safely reached the Indian coast.
