
Jammu, February 23 General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, Lt Gen P K Mishra, visited Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday and commended the troops for killing three Pakistani terrorists, including a top Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander, during an operation.
The Army's White Knight Corps, based in Jammu, said that GOC, accompanied by General Officer Commanding of the Counter-Insurgency Force (Delta), Maj Gen A P S Bal, visited various locations in the hilly district to review ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the area.
"The GOC (Lt Gen Mishra) commended the troops for their swift, precise, and intelligence-led action, which resulted in the elimination of three Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, including a top JeM commander," the Corps said in a post on X.
"The troops of the White Knight Corps, who have been relentlessly operating in the hinterland, remain resolute – precise in their actions, relentless in their pursuit, and unwavering in their commitment to safeguard the nation," the Corps said in a post on X.
The most wanted JeM commander, Saifullah, along with two of his associates, was killed in an encounter in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Sunday.
