New Delhi, March 13 Delhi Lt Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu met with President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday, according to an official statement.
The President's office shared a picture of the meeting on X.
"Lt. Governor of Delhi, Shri Taranjit Singh Sandhu, met with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan," it stated.
Sandhu was sworn in as the 23rd Lt Governor of Delhi on Wednesday.
In another post, the President's office said that Murmu hosted Members of Parliament from Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Ladakh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and nominated MPs of the Rajya Sabha for breakfast at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre on Friday morning.
