February 21, New Delhi - A formal welcome ceremony was held at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan for Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who is on a state visit to India. President Lula was presented with the Guard of Honour at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Brazilian President was received at Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi.
The visiting Brazilian President, Lula da Silva, also paid his respects to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, at Rajghat in New Delhi.
