
REASI, FEBRUARY 16: The three-day Maha Shivratri festival at Shiv Khori concluded on a spiritually uplifting note, drawing over 1.20 lakh devotees from across the district and neighboring areas.
Devotees flocked to the sacred cave shrine to offer prayers, with special rituals, prayers, and devotional songs marking the celebrations. A traditional wrestling competition (dangal) on the final day was a major attraction, featuring participants from various regions.
Social and voluntary organizations organized langars (community meals), while cultural programs and local stalls added to the festive atmosphere. The district administration ensured the smooth conduct of the festival with elaborate arrangements for security, sanitation, healthcare, and traffic management.
