
Mumbai, April 5 The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad and the Delhi police's Special Cell jointly arrested two individuals allegedly linked to a terror group involved in online radicalization of youths, an official said on Sunday.
The two were apprehended from Khadavali in Thane and Kurla in central Mumbai, based on specific intelligence inputs and recovered incriminating documents, as well as electronic devices, including mobile phones, from them.
"The operation took place two days ago, and the accused have been taken to Delhi. These individuals are part of a group operating from Odisha. The individuals in charge are also under the scrutiny of security agencies," the official said.
The Delhi police's Special Cell has registered a case of criminal conspiracy against the accused and the group, and is conducting further investigations, he added.
