Mumbai, April 1 A 45-year-old man was killed after a tree branch fell on parked vehicles at the Maharashtra Police Headquarters in south Mumbai on Wednesday evening, according to civic officials.
A large branch of a Gulmohar tree broke off and fell on four vehicles parked inside the campus in Colaba, injuring Anil Bhagoji Gore (45), who was present at the scene.
He was immediately taken to St. George's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, and civic ward staff rushed to the scene.
