Mumbai, March 13 – The wait is finally over. The makers of Imtiaz Ali's next film, titled "Main Vaapas Aaunga," have released the first look poster.
The posters, which were shared on social media, give a glimpse of a classic romance, with one picture showing Sharvani riding a bicycle in a field, with Vedang Raina running after her, dressed as a Sardar.
On the other hand, we see Diljit Dosanjh standing calmly in the field.
In another photo, Diljit is seen holding a travel mug, suggesting that his character might belong to a big city, or even a foreign country.
While it's difficult to glean much more from the first look posters, it seems that "Main Vaapas Aaunga" is set in two different time periods.
The makers will also be releasing the teaser for the film on Friday.
Featuring Diljit, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang, and Sharvari in the lead roles, the film promises a beautiful story of love and longing.
"Main Vaapas Aaunga" is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 12th this year.

The project, jointly backed by the production banners Applause Entertainment, Window Seat Films, and Mohit Choudhary, also reunites the legendary trio of Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, lyricist Irshad Kamil, and Imtiaz Ali.
