New Delhi, March 17 Malabar Gold & Diamonds announced on Tuesday the opening of 20 new showrooms by the end of the month, with an investment of Rs 1,580 crore, creating 725 job opportunities.
The new showrooms will be launched in Jhansi, Kallakurichy, Gwalior, Chittoor, Haldwani, Theni, Jamnagar, Ranchi, VIP Road Kolkata, Aligarh, KR Puram (Bengaluru), Inorbit Mall Vizag, Kanchrapara, Serampore, Gokul Road Hubli, Maninagar, Gurugram Sector 14, Jubilee Hills (Hyderabad), Sangareddy, and Guwahati.
"The expansion involves a total investment of Rs 1,580 crore and is expected to generate over 725 employment opportunities," the company said in a statement.
Malabar Group Chairman MP Ahammad said, "Our decision to launch 20 showrooms in 20 days reflects our strong belief in the country's long-term growth potential and our commitment to expanding access to world-class jewellery retail experiences."
The latest expansion drive will take the total global showroom count to 445 across 14 countries, with a presence in 22 states/UTs across India.
