Medinipur (WB), April 10 West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee led a vibrant roadshow in this town in Paschim Medinipur district on Friday, in support of Trinamool Congress candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.
People lined the streets through which Banerjee's roadshow passed, with the roads decorated with party flags and balloons.
The TMC supremo walked nearly 2 km from the College Ground to the Lord Jagannath temple in Medinipur town, greeting people with folded hands.
She was accompanied by party MP June Malia from the Medinipur Lok Sabha constituency, along with local TMC leaders and workers.
