Nanded, April 1 Police have arrested a man in the Nanded district of Maharashtra for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl on several occasions by threatening to circulate her private photos on social media, an official said.
The accused, identified as Avinash Rajesh Manpure (25), leaked the 17-year-old victim's private videos online.
Following his arrest, a local court remanded him in judicial custody on Wednesday.
"The accused established contact with the victim on Instagram. By gradually gaining her trust, he managed to get her private photos and videos. Thereafter, he sexually assaulted her repeatedly by threatening to circulate her photos," police inspector Ajit Kumbhar told
