Hyderabad, March 25 A 46-year-old man, who was posing as a dentist and allegedly running an illegal clinic here for the past 14 years, was arrested, police said on Wednesday.
The accused, who claims to have completed an intermediate course, was found running the dental clinic without a BDS degree, during an inspection, they said.
Based on reliable information that the clinic in Old Neredmet was operating without obtaining permission from the relevant department, an inspection was carried out on March 24, a police official said.
The accused, who does not have any recognized BDS qualification, posed as a dentist for 14 years, endangering public health, police said.
A case was registered at the Neredmet police station, and the accused was arrested, police added.
