Balasore, March 9 A 43-year-old man from Assam died after falling from a moving train in Balasore district, Odisha, police said on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Niran Biswas from Chintagaon village in Udalguri district, Assam, was returning home from Tamil Nadu with some relatives when the incident occurred near the Sabira railway station on Sunday, they added.
His body was taken home by ambulance after a post-mortem examination, the police said.
Biswas is suspected to have fallen from the train accidentally, and a case has been filed, they added.
