
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar/Nanded, April 6 A 35-year-old Shiv Sena worker was stabbed to death in Nanded city in the early hours of Monday. Subsequently, one of the suspects was apprehended after an encounter that left him with a bullet wound, a police official said.
This is the fifth murder in a public space in the city over the past three days.
Sonu Kalyankar was taking a morning walk around 5:30 am when three men attacked him with sharp weapons in the Shreenagar area, an official said. He sustained 17 stab wounds and was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital, the official added.
"Four individuals have been detained in connection with the murder," Inspector Santosh Tambe told
