Guna (MP), April 7 Police have arrested a 35-year-old person with physical disabilities for allegedly concealing more than three kilograms of ganja in his electric tricycle in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, a police official said on Tuesday.
The accused, identified as Ramniwas Premlal Lodha, was apprehended late Monday night by a police patrol team on Dobra Road in the Fatehgarh area, he said.
Upon seeing the police team, he attempted to flee the scene. This raised suspicions among the police personnel. They thoroughly searched his vehicle, where they found 3.110 kilograms of ganja kept in a bag, the official said.
The accused was then arrested, and a case was registered against him at the Fatehgarh police station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and an investigation was launched, he added.
