Imphal, March 2 Security forces have arrested three militants belonging to different banned groups in the districts of Imphal East and West, and Thoubal in Manipur, according to a police statement released on Monday.
An active member of PREPAK was apprehended on Sunday in Phaknung Awang Leikai in Imphal East district.
Another insurgent of PREPAK (PRO) was arrested from his residence at Wangoi Khaidem Leikai in Imphal West district on Saturday. A 9mm pistol, along with a magazine and four cartridges, was seized from his possession.
A militant belonging to the KYKL outfit was also arrested in the Yairipok Lamkhai area in Thoubal on Saturday, the statement added.
