Imphal, March 19 Security forces have arrested three militants, including a female cadre, belonging to different outlawed groups, allegedly involved in extortion in Manipur, a police statement said on Thursday.
An active member of the KCP (PWG) was apprehended in Kongba Laishram Leikai in Imphal East district on Wednesday.
Another 43-year-old female member of the group was arrested from her residence in Kongba Makha Uchekon in Imphal East district on Wednesday.
A 25-year-old insurgent belonging to PREPAK was also apprehended on Tuesday in Thoudam Laishram Leikai in Thoubal district, and two cartridges were seized from him.
