
In a major victory for the Indian government's efforts to combat Left-Wing Extremism (LWE), 108 Maoists, including 44 women, surrendered in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, on Wednesday, officials reported. These individuals were carrying a combined reward of Rs 3.29 crore.
