Mumbai, April 1 TVS Motor announced on Wednesday that its total sales surged by 25% to 5,19,358 units in March 2026, compared to 4,14,687 units in the same month last year.
Domestic two-wheelers registered a growth of 25%, with sales increasing from 2,97,622 units in March 2025 to 3,72,383 units last month. Motorcycle sales increased by 18% to 2,32,788 units from 1,96,734 units in March 2025, the company said.
Scooter sales rose by 31%, increasing from 1,66,297 units a year ago to 2,17,624 units in March 2026, the company said.
Its sales of electric vehicles were up 44% year-on-year at 38,877 units in March 2026.
The company's total international business sales for the month under review stood at 1,41,443 units, compared to 1,13,464 units in March 2025, registering a 25% year-on-year growth. Of this, two-wheeler sales grew by 23%, from 1,02,498 units in March 2025 to 1,25,751 units last month.
Three-wheeler sales registered a growth of 46% – from 14,567 units in March 2025 to 21,224 units last month.
For the full year 2025-26, the company said it logged a 24% rise in sales from 47.44 lakh units in FY 2024-25 to 58.89 lakh units in the last fiscal. Two-wheeler sales were up 23% to 56.70 lakh units from 46.09 lakh units.
Three-wheeler sales registered a growth of 63% year-on-year to 2.19 lakh units in the previous fiscal.
Total exports registered a growth of 33%, from 11.95 lakh units in FY 2024-25 to 15.85 lakh units last fiscal year, TVS Motor said.
