
Thiruvananthapuram, March 10 The wife of Kerala Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar said on Tuesday that he had admitted his mistake and apologized, and therefore, she would not pursue her complaint against him.
Speaking to a news channel, Bindhu Menon said that since she had not answered his calls, the minister contacted her sister and "spoke emotionally".
"I never intended to damage his or the government's reputation. I spoke out of emotion. I am not pursuing the complaint, as he called and said that we could resolve the issue. The minister does not need to apologize to the public," she said.
Menon had leveled allegations of infidelity against him on Monday after he denied rumors circulating on social media regarding the matter.
She had said that there had been marital problems with Ganesh Kumar since their marriage in 2014.
The leader of the Kerala Congress (B), Ganesh Kumar, married Menon in 2014 after legally separating from Yamini Thankachy.
Menon said that she had been living separately for the past several months due to Ganesh's relationship with several women.
