New Delhi, March 10 The prices of cottonseed oil cake rose by Rs 6 to Rs 3,430 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, as speculators created new positions due to increased demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 6, or 0.18 percent, at Rs 3,430 per quintal, with an open interest of 33,650 lots.
Market participants said that the increased demand for cattle feed, along with the widening of positions, mainly influenced the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
