In honor of Kargil War hero Hawaldar Kulbir Singh's martyrdom in his hometown of Koulpur in the Ramgarh tehsil of Samba district, officers from the Army's 10th Madras Regiment, police officers, former soldiers, leaders of various political parties, and the martyr's family, among others, paid a lavish tribute to him today. A remembrance event was held in the hometown of Martyr Kulbir Singh, who died defending the nation against Pakistani invaders in the Kargil War in 1999. On this occasion, a column of the Indian Army honored the deceased soldier's memorial with a guard of honor, remembering him as their hero who defended the homeland against the adversaries.
