Mathura Case: Allahabad High Court Postpones Hearing to April 10.webp

Prayagraj, March 29 The Allahabad High Court has fixed April 10 as the date for the next hearing in the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah mosque dispute case in Mathura.

Justice Avnish Saxena fixed April 10 as the next date of hearing after the lawyers representing both sides requested the court to postpone the matter.

The central issue is the Shahi Idgah mosque, built during the reign of Aurangzeb, which a section of Hindus claim was built by demolishing a temple at the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

The Hindu side has filed 18 lawsuits seeking possession of the land and the restoration of the temple.
