New Delhi, March 24 The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory announcing restrictions and diversions on key stretches of the national capital in view of the inaugural International Film Festival Delhi-2026, scheduled from March 25 to March 31.
According to the advisory, traffic regulations will be in effect daily from 10 am to 10 pm, with no parking allowed on Mathura Road and Bhairon Road during this period. Vehicles found parked improperly will be towed away and prosecuted, it said.
While the Bharat Mandapam in the Pragati Maidan complex is the main venue for the festival, screenings will also take place at multiplexes across Delhi.
The authorities have designated specific entry gates and parking arrangements for the invitees.
Entry to the Bharat Mandapam will be allowed through Gate No 4 on Bhairon Marg and Gate No 10 near the Supreme Court Metro station.
Parking facilities will be available at basement parking No. 1 (entry from Bhairon Marg) and basement parking No. 2 (entry from Mathura Road), along with surface parking at Bhairon Mandir and National Stadium.
According to the advisory, traffic movement is likely to be affected on Mathura Road and Bhairon Road, and commuters have been advised to use the Ring Road and public transport to avoid congestion.
People heading to the airport or railway stations have been urged to plan their journeys in advance.
