Shillong, April 11 The Secretary of the Ministry of Development for the North Eastern Region (MDoNER), Sanjay Jaju, reviewed a number of infrastructure and tourism projects in Meghalaya and expressed satisfaction with the pace of development, officials said on Saturday.
Jaju, who is on a two-day visit to the state, held a high-level review meeting at the Meghalaya Secretariat with the Chief Secretary and senior state government officials to assess the status of key initiatives and strengthen Centre-State coordination.
The Secretary reviewed a portfolio of 16 projects sanctioned between FY 2022-23 and FY 2025-26, with a total sanctioned amount of Rs 1,411.58 crore, exceeding the normative allocation of Rs 1,262 crore, officials at the North Eastern Council (NEC) told
