Chandigarh, March 25 Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, met with Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator, Gulab Chand Kataria, at Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly environment, during which matters of mutual interest were discussed, according to an official release.
The meeting reflected the long-standing and friendly relations between India and Russia, and reaffirmed the spirit of cooperation and goodwill between the two sides, it said.
In a post on X, Kataria said, "I had a meeting with the Ambassador of Russia to India, Denis Alipov. The meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, featured meaningful discussions on various issues of mutual interest, and reiterated the commitment to further deepen strong and friendly relations between India and Russia."
