Mumbai, March 8 Actor Aly Goni has criticised the trolls who are making fun of YouTuber and ‘Bigg Boss 17’ contestant, Anurag Dobhal, after he attempted suicide due to severe psychological distress.
Aly Goni recently posted a video on his Instagram Stories, in which he talks about the YouTuber and criticises those who are making fun of his mental health.
In the video, he says, "There's a YouTuber named Anurag, whose YouTube handle is UK07. He uploaded a video of himself. He showed himself to the public. Whatever is happening in his life is a family matter, and he shouldn't interfere. But he showed himself."
"His fans, the people who supported him, what did they give him in return? Laughter, jokes, trolling. Now, I've heard that he attempted suicide while driving a car on the highway. He was driving at a speed of 250 kmph, and I hope he's okay. But it's a sad reality, you should be ashamed of yourselves, making fun of him. God is watching all of you. That's all I have to say. I hope he's alright," he added.
Anurag Dobhal attempted suicide for the second time in days when he crashed his car during an Instagram live. Calling it his 'final drive', the influencer said 'goodbye' to thousands of followers before crashing his car into a barrier. His manager, Vinay, provided an update on Anurag's health, stating that he has been admitted to the ICU.
He said in a statement, "On behalf of Team UK Rider, I, as Anurag Dobhal's manager, confirm that he is currently under medical observation in the hospital. We request everyone to treat this as the official statement and avoid continuous calls regarding the situation. If there are any further updates, we will share them at the appropriate time."
"He has been moved to another hospital, currently in the ICU, and we ask everyone to pray for him. We are in contact with doctors and other relevant parties. We would like to thank everyone who has been supporting us, especially the fans who helped me locate him and get him the help he needed. You people are truly God," he added.
