Bhubaneswar, March 26 Family members of missing merchant navy cadet Sarthak Mohapatra met Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Thursday and requested his intervention for a CBI investigation into the case, an official said.
Sarthak went missing from a vessel off the coast of Mauritius on February 3.
More than a month later, his mother, Rashmita Mohapatra, and another family member met the governor at his official residence here and submitted a memorandum requesting a CBI investigation.
"We have only received a missing person report. We have not received any updates on the investigation into my son. Therefore, we met the governor, requesting him to take necessary steps for a CBI investigation into the incident," Rashmita told
