Tirupati, April 3 A commercial vehicle manufacturer donated a mini truck worth Rs 8.7 lakh to TTD, the official custodian of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple here on Friday.
Mohammed Nazeeruddin, a representative of the company, performed a special puja (prayer) and handed over the vehicle keys to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.
"Ashok Leyland has donated a Dost Plus XL mini truck worth Rs 8.75 lakh to TTD," said an official press release from the temple body.
The donation was made in front of Srivari (Lord Venkateswara Swamy) temple, the press release added.
