The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has stated that the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 has received a positive response from young people across the country. Nearly 47,000 essays have been submitted in the second stage of the initiative. The competition aims to encourage young citizens to engage with the Union Budget and contribute ideas for the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The Ministry said that the winners will have the opportunity to present their Budget ideas to Prime Minister Narendra Modi starting from the 15th of this month. In the first stage, a nationwide online quiz saw participation from over 12 lakh young people across all States and Union Territories, with Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal recording the highest participation.
