
Minister Jual Oram of the Tribal Affairs Ministry announced today that the Ministry will organize a series of major events from March 2nd to 24th to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of tribal communities across the country. He stated that these festivals will not only celebrate tribal heritage but also create opportunities for economic empowerment and greater national recognition of indigenous art forms.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Mr. Oram said that the Ministry will host the Tribal Art Fest, Tribal Music Fest, Bharat Tribes Fest, and the Tribal Business Conclave during this period. He explained that the initiative aims to provide a vibrant platform for tribal people to showcase their skills, creativity, and traditional knowledge systems.
The Minister emphasized that participants will have the opportunity to present their art, artifacts, music, culture, and paintings to a wider national audience. He added that nearly one thousand participants from all states are expected to take part in the Tribal Art Fest, making it a truly nationwide celebration of India's diverse tribal traditions.
During the event, Mr. Oram also launched the official logos of the Tribal Art Fest, Living Roots: Soundscapes of Tribal India, and Bharat Tribes Fest 2026. He described the launch as a proud step towards celebrating and promoting the rich cultural legacy of tribal communities.
