
New Delhi, April 10 The government on Friday extended the minimum import price (MIP) for natural honey for nine months, until December 31 of this year, in an effort to discourage the import of cheap honey.
The MIP is USD 1400 per tonne.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) stated, "The validity of the existing MIP of USD 1400 FOB (freight on board) per metric ton on the export of natural honey is extended until December 31, 2026".
In a separate notification, DGFT said an additional condition has been added for exports of feathers, skins and other parts.
