
March 20, New Delhi – Gulf states are on high alert following overnight missile and drone attacks.
Air defenses in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait have been responding to "hostile missile and drone attacks" since early Friday.
The UAE's National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority has urged people to remain in a safe location, as air defense systems are currently responding to the threat of a missile attack.
Elsewhere in the Gulf, Bahrain's interior ministry reported that air raid sirens were activated, and Saudi Arabia's defense ministry announced that it had intercepted a drone in the country's east.
