Poonch, March 23

A one-day training program for surveyors was organized in Poonch under Mission Gyan Bharatam by the District Level Training Committee (DLTC) of the department.

The program aimed to equip surveyors with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct a comprehensive household survey under the mission. More than 250 surveyors participated in the training, which was conducted in four sessions to ensure effective implementation across the district.

Tahir Mustafa Malik, the nodal officer for the training, stated that a strong team of trained surveyors has been prepared to undertake the household survey under Mission Gyan Bharatam.

Master Trainer Palvi Verma highlighted that the initiative is part of broader efforts by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to document and promote the country’s cultural and knowledge heritage.

The trained surveyors are expected to play a key role in ensuring accurate data collection and effective implementation of the mission at the grassroots level.
