REASI, FEBRUARY 26: The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Reasi, organized a one-day training program for YUVA DOOTs at the DC Office Conference Hall here today.
The training aimed at mapping the roles and responsibilities of YUVA DOOTs in a structured manner, clearly outlining their tasks, and aligning training modules with the phased implementation of Mission YUVA at the Panchayat and Municipal Ward levels. The program focused on assigning a well-defined mandate and measurable targets to YUVA DOOTs, based on local needs, to enhance the effectiveness of interventions at the grassroots level.
The program was inaugurated by Joint Director Employment Jammu, S. Paramjeet Singh, along with Assistant Director Employment Reasi, Sanjay Bhat.
Addressing the participants, the officers highlighted the rapid progress being achieved under Mission YUVA and urged the YUVA DOOTs to proactively counsel unemployed youth and guide them towards self-employment opportunities in promising sectors.
