Mizoram Chief Secretary Khilli Ram Meena assured the public that there is an adequate supply of LPG, petrol, and diesel in the state, urging citizens not to panic.
On March 29, Aizawl: Following directives from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) and a recent high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on March 27, 2026, the Mizoram Chief Secretary has assured the public that there is an adequate supply of LPG, petrol, and diesel in the state, urging citizens not to panic.
In a state-level review meeting held on March 28, 2026, with Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) officials, Deputy Commissioners (DCs), and Oil Marketing Companies, all DCs confirmed that their respective districts have sufficient stocks of essential fuels.
The government has appealed to the public to use LPG economically. Citizens are also encouraged to report any distribution issues, hoarding, or black marketing to the designated state and district helpline numbers.
