March 11th, New Delhi: The event was jointly organized by the Field Office of the Central Bureau of Communication, under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and the Department of Political Science, Pachhunga University College. Dr. Lalthakima, Head of the Political Science Department at PUC, who was the Chief Guest, addressed the gathering, stating that the primary objective of both "Viksit Bharat" and "Nari Shakti" is to achieve absolute inclusive development. Reminding the students that each of them has the potential to become a catalyst for the nation's progress and prosperity, he urged them to actively participate and contribute their best to the various upcoming initiatives of the Central Government under the "Viksit Bharat" campaign.
Mr. Nampibou Marinmai, News Director of Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) Aizawl, who was the Guest of Honour, also addressed the attendees. He remarked that while initiatives under the "Viksit Bharat" vision are currently being rolled out in other states across India, Mizoram has practically been embodying these principles for a long time.
He highlighted that Mizoram is already ahead of many other states in terms of education, cleanliness, and civic way of life. This, he noted, clearly indicates that the core values and objectives of the "Viksit Bharat" initiative are not a recent phenomenon in Mizoram, but have been deeply rooted and practiced by the people for a long time.
