MLA Darshan Singh inaugurated the construction of a road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Basholi, with an estimated cost of ₹25.35 crore. He also inaugurated the blacktopping work of Janu Road, which is being carried out at a cost of ₹4 crore. These projects aim to improve road infrastructure and connect previously isolated areas.
The road connectivity under PMGSY will provide better access to the densely populated rural areas of Basholi.
On the occasion, the MLA expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh for sanctioning seven roads under PMGSY to connect remote and hilly areas of Basholi.
He added that these projects will significantly improve connectivity, benefiting villagers who had been waiting for proper road access for a long time.
Local residents also expressed their gratitude to the government for initiating these much-needed road projects.
