February 17, New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the launch of the India-France Year of Innovation is transforming their strategic partnership into a Partnership of the People.
The Prime Minister said the goal of the initiative is to strengthen people-to-people connections. He noted that in areas such as defense, clean energy, space, and emerging technologies, both sides will connect industries and innovators across sectors.
He added that strong networks will be established between startups and MSMEs, exchanges between students and researchers will be facilitated, and new centers for joint innovation will be established.
